Dear Bella,
I am sorry you that you had a family that didn't want you any more. I'm sorry that they would rather have you put down. I'm sorry that you've been tied up, not fed enough, and didn't have a name. I hope you enjoy the warm bed we have for you. Once we know you won't roam the house and chew things when we're sleeping, we will let you sleep on the bed with us (plus, you need a bath first!) I hope you like your new name and all the treats, love, and affection we will give you. I hope you love being a part of our family.

I'm sorry that we brought a stranger into your life. She didn't have a good home and we thought that maybe you'd like to share yours. Also, we wanted you to have a playmate. Don't worry, we still love you very much. I hope you love your new sister.

oh my god, this makes me cry! you are so sweet to do this. i'm such a dog lover and rescuer, so this really hits home with me. you are a sweet person. enjoy her!
Hubby has been scouring craigslist for a puppy (I told him we needed to wait for the house to be finished first) and when he found out about her, he gave me sad eyes. I couldn't resist him..or her when I saw her!
