Room: A Novel

It took me less that 24 hours to read this book.  It was amazing!  I can almost guarantee that you've never read anything like this before.  It is told from the point of view of Jack.  He is 5 years old.  He lives in Room with Ma (his mother).  Room is all he's ever know.  Jack eats, sleeps, plays, and learns in Room.  Room is his world.  And Jacks world is nothing like our world.  It's an 11 ft x 11 ft square shed in a backyard.  A backyard that Jack has never seen.  Because Jack has never left room.  Trees, dogs, stores, other people, fresh air.  These things only exist in TV.  Room is Jack's comfort zone and he's completely happy there.
But, Ma is not happy there.  Room is a prison that she's been in for the last 7 years.  And she would do anything to escape. And she needs Jack's help.

I don't want to give away anything else.  You HAVE to read this book.  End of story.
